WVU @ Syracuse Preview: Time to Man Up...

Tomorrow is pivotal for this basketball season. Sure, we take on a strong team that was #1 in the country a week ago.  BUT, if we learned anything at St. John's it's that in the Big East... anyone can beat anyone.  Along with that is the understanding, however, that beating 'Cuse ...

A local agency here in Morgantown sponsors that bball tournament they had in Motown last weekend. All the kids that win MVP of each game signs the game ball and it is presented to the sponsors at the end of each game. Normally this would be a non-story and we wouldn't even mention it but the ...

Dear Coach Fraud,

Not everything was bad playing for you Coach Fraud. I learned a lot of things I will carry with me for a long time. One thing that I learned from you was how not to treat your players if I ever coach. Don’t get me wrong you were a hell of a teaching coach, but not a players coach at all, like Don Nehlen was. Coach Fraud, you put on this tough guy act and abused your powers, religiously, to your benefit not ours !!!!

We had long practice hours and they were hard and you would go over the limit of hours all the time and that is why WVU is paying for it now! Something you taught in practice was to be physical and play hard you made us tougher because we would practice like it was a game! You taught us how to work hard and to never give up, but it was hell because you would take us out if we made just one mistake. A lot of time us players would mess up because we were thinking about you taking us out and not focusing on the play!

I really don’t care for you at this point. Coach Fraud you messed over a lot of players when you first came to Morgantown. I understand what you were trying to do with building your program, but you don’t mess over kids lives in the process! Especially when those kids were great players for WVU before you got there and would have got a chance to play in the NFL if not for you accepting the job in Morgantown as our leader.

When you first came to “Spot the Ball” you did things to set up some of the Senior starters up for failure that didn’t fit your system. Just so you could play the younger players to get them ready for your program, you changed lives. We had senior guys that were going to the NFL, you put them on the bench. We had two safeties Shawn Hackett and Rick Sherrod that were 1 and 3 in the nation in tackles the previous season at their positions. We also has Antonio Brown the fastest Mountaineer in WVU history, a 4.18 40 yard dash and you barely played him. When we played the Miami Hurricanes that season in Miami,  which was Antonio’s home town, you didn’t let AB see the field outside of warm ups!!!!!! You changed a lot more but those were just a few.

Well Coach you better get it together up there there in Michigan because this could be your last rodeo buddy. You can come be WVU’s water boy when they fire you because I am not to sure who else will let you lead a team and if you can’t come home where can you go, right? Country Roaaaadss, Take meeee hoooommmeee …..
