The BLONDES are back and have claimed the crown in the Best of West V. Back to Back, classy, gorgeous, home grown West Virginia Blondies. Billy Hoyle is the Captain of this ship and do not forget it. Cassie is one of the most down to earth, realistic, well-rounded woman you will ever meet, if your lucky. She is married too fellas so put away your engagement rings, but what do you expect when you got it all like her. Now some words from Mrs. Cassie …

I grew up in Parkersburg, WV on a family farm. Learning how to work hard, love God, and respect others set me up for success later in my life. I learned how to fish when I was 4 and how to hunt when I was 7. I thought I was big stuff with my .22 rifle on my first hunting trip. Then it came time to shoot that cute little furry animal, whom I called Alvin. My dad told me if I could shoot a chipmunk I could shoot anything. So not to disappoint my Dad, I lifted the rifle with big tears in my eyes and squeezed the trigger. THANK GOD I missed! Oh how times have changed.
Growing up I was involved in 4-H showing hogs and horses. However, when I went to Jr. High I decided that I would try out for cheerleading. Besides Cheerleading is WAY cooler than 4-H, at least I thought so then. Little did I know Cheerleading would change my life forever. I cheered at Parkersburg High School for 2 years and then joined an All-Star team my senior year. I went to Morehead State University and University of Louisville on a cheerleading scholarship and was lucky enough to have won two national cheering titles at MSU.

While living in Louisville I started working at Hooters. This started my love affair with TV, film, and print work. I was lucky enough to be placed on Billboards, Magazine Cover, Calendars, P.O.S. items, and Commercials. I met my husband in the Bahamas while on one of these shoots for Hooters. Soon after meeting him I moved to Nashville, TN. Here in Nashville I am modeling for Dan Talent Group. I have appeared in several music videos and commercials. I also love writing songs with my husband. I have three fantastic rescue dogs and a lot of room to get my redneck on. I do believe that I am WVU’s biggest fan in Nashville and maybe the state (besides my brother). After we crushed KY in basketball last season my husband stood up and sang “Country Roads” to a bar that was primarily KY fans…Im surprised we didn’t get shot.
So here is to a great year in WVU sports! LETS GO…MOUNTAINEERS!

WVU Love,

Cassie

Check out this website from Cassie and her Husband: www.ahymnaweek.com and how it started from Cassie: My husbands mom and dad were both pastors pretty much their entire lives. After Gary’s dad passed away on Easter morning he decided that he wanted to do something to honor his parents for all their time, love, and compassion for people and the church. So he created a website called ahymnaweek.com. For those of you who love the old hymn’s you will love this site. I do all the production for the site minus the editing…I leave that up to the man haha. There is also Cassie’s Cookbook, a live chat, and a video and MP3 weekly on the site. I hope you enjoy!

Cassie is a precious individual, so generous with her time, kind and uncomplaining even when things are not going well. So Alex? Don’t say things like that about human beings that you know nothing about. It only makes you look small, and sad.

Yay Cassie!! So many people love and care about you, you are a rare diamond. No dime a dozen here. You see, God doesn’t make people that way – and she got an extra helping of a lot of wonderful things when God made her! :)
