The weekend has arrived and with that I am blessing you Couch Fire Faithful with a homegrown beautiful woman from Clarksburg, WV. So not only do you get basketball and football this weekend from WVU, you get Miss Christina to make you warm and fuzzy all over.

Hello fellow Mountaineer lovers. So this feature is entitled “The Best of WV”, which is very flattering. I am hoping the one thing that this site shows is that most girls from the Wild and Wonderful state of West Virginia have brains, charisma, and beautiful smiles (with all of our teeth). I know thus far the lovely ladies that have been featured on this site are reflective of that…so thanks! I have lived in Baltimore and currently live in Pittsburgh and the stereotypes that people have for West Virginians are ridiculous.

I am from Clarksburg, WV and graduated from the wonderful West Virginia University in 2007. I am an avid football fan, who actually watches the games, pays attention, and knows what is going on. My love for football began at a young age. The boys at my elementary school would not allow any of the girls to participate in their recess football games. Naturally, I was appalled and went home to complain to my dad. Seeing as my father has three girls, he was happy to buy me a football and teach me how to play the game. I brought the football to school, gathered up the girls, and we played our own game. As you can imagine, the boys were not happy that we were no longer paying attention to them. Boys, boys, boys…Ha-ha.

My time at WVU was amazing and I never missed a home football game. I have a lot of respect for WVU and all of the athletic programs, so you probably won’t ever catch me yelling obscenities at coaches or players if they don’t win. I am a Mountaineer fan no matter what, win or lose. Sure, we all love to win, but as the saying goes, “you can’t win ‘em all.” The next time you are at a WVU game and you’re yelling at a referee, Coach Stewart, or Coach Huggins, remember…they can’t hear you, you look and sound foolish, and you might be ruining your shots with that cute WVU honey sitting three seats down.
