We caught up with Dee for a second and got the opportunity to see whats been going on and how he enjoyed Morgantown and WVU.
Couch Fire Sports: What was your first impression of Morgantown, WV when you arrived on campus?
Dee McCann: My first impression when I arrived to Morgantown,WV was how was I gonna deal with this weather?
CFS: Favorite moment at WVU?
DM: The SUGAR BOWL GAME. The CLASS OF 2005, we ended with the most WINS in MOUNTIANEER HISTORY.
CFS: What are you up to now these days after spending your college days in the WVU secondary? Are you currently playing anywhere?
DM: I currently have a 9/5 job. So, no I am not playin football anymore, but it was great while it lasted and got me where I am.
CFS: What was it like being part of the Detroit Lions after playing for such a winning program like WVU?
DM: It was devastating after coming from a winning program, then to go to a losing program but it was a blessing for me to accomplish my goal at the same time of making it to the NFL.
CFS: How were the practices in the NFL compared to thoughs of Rich Fraud? Did he have you practice to many hours also?
DM: The practice hours were about the same but Coach Rods practice was more high tempo but he prepare me for the next level.
CFS: How do you feel about what is going on with the WVU Football program right now in the news?
DM: I feel real good about it. I think Coach Stewart is doing a wonderful job with the program.
CFS: If you could tell Rich Fraud one thing it would be … Hey Coach …
CFS: Favorite place to eat in Morgantown?
DM: KEGLERS is my favorite place to eat. ( I think he likes more then the food there.)
CFS: Was WVU your first experiance with mass amounts of “white girls”?
DM: Yes it was, and I had fun.
CFS: Is it true you knocked out a younger star recruit at Hardees and sent him straight to Divison 2 ball over a very cute female athlete?
DM: NO COMMENT, Hahahaha. NO COMMENT !!!
