I got a second to ask former WVU standout guard Drew Schifino some questions about Morgantown, basketball, and what he is up to these days after his underrated basketball career at WVU.

Couch Fire Sports – How things been since you left Morgantown?
Drew Schifino – Things are pretty good here in Pittsburgh.

CFS – Where have you played overseas? Are you still playing now?
DS – Germany and I am getting ready to go back right now.

CFS – How are the woman overseas? Is it everything we dream of?
DS – The women overseas are no different from the females in the states they only care about money & sex.

CFS – How is the rehab with the injury going? Did you talk to Da’Sean, when he got hurt? What did you say to him if you did?
DS – I’m healthy now and no I didn’t talk to Butler, but if I did I would’ve told him to keep his head up and keep moving in the right direction.

CFS – How good was Jonathon Hargett, since we didn’t get to see him long? Was he worth what he was getting paid, lol ?
DS – Yea, Hargett was the real deal.

CFS – I feel you were a very underrated player at WVU, did you feel the same way with how you were used and treated?
DS – Yeah I felt like I was the most underrated player in college and Jay Bilas thought the same because he wrote it in his blog. I averaged 20pts in the Princeton style offense I would’ve averaged 25 with Huggy Bear’s system.

CFS – How does one person get 11 steals in a Division 1 college game?
DS – I don’t even know how I got 11 steals in 1 game, kind of crazy.

CFS – If you and Coach Beilein had a phone conversation how would it go, Hey Coach ….
DS – Hey coach you’re so fake and the biggest asshole ever, karmas a bitch … CLICK.

CFS – One thing you would have changed if you could at WVU.
DS – One thing I would’ve changed was WVU never hiring Belyin.

CFS – Tell us your favorite memory of being at WVU.
DS – My favorite memory at WVU was my first basketball game and the night we beat VA Tech in football and Motown went into flames, lol.

CFS – Favorite place to eat in Morgantown?
DS – My favorite place to eat is the Texas Roadhouse.

CFS – Whats in the cd player right now?
DS – Pilot talk, Curren$y

Thanks for taking some of your time to answer some questions for us. Drew is on his was to Germany as we speak to get ready for the upcoming season. We will bring you a link in the future where you can keep up with Drew and how things are going in Germany for him.
